OUR HISTORY

SINCE 1886

Currently one of the NTFL's strongest and most consistently successful clubs, Ulverstone has a proud and illustrious history dating back to 1888.  Originally known as the Leven Football Club, it changed its name to Ulverstone in 1890.

ALEX PEARCE

Alex Pearce, son of Scott & Karen Pearce, big brother to Georgia Pearce, was born 9th June 1995 in Ulverstone. His primary school and high school days in Ulverstone were spent mostly playing cricket and football and dominating school athletics carnivals.

About ULVERSTONE FOOTBALL CLUB

The Ulverstone Football Club (the club) was established in 1886. Dr.Sir John McCall was the first elected president. The first games of the Club were played in a paddock where Leven and William Streets are today, with the hill acting as a natural grandstand. The club is now based at the Ulverstone Recreation Ground at the corner of Water and Victoria Streets.
